Crab Cakes Snack Bento (106)

After making the crab meat carbonara angel hair bento, I still have half can of crab meat & lots of angel hair remaining. Decided to make this crab cakes for little girl and her friends as their after school snack.

Ingredients

1/2 can crab meat
1 handful of cooked angel hair
1 small onion, chopped, saute til soft
1 piece whole meal bread, crust removed, tore into tiny pieces
1 egg
some mayo
some yellow mustard
a dash of worcester sauce
1/2 tsp dried parley flakes
pinch of salt and pepper
  1. Mix all ingredients in a bowl til even (pls use clean hand for best result)
  2. Pour 1 tbsp of olive oil into non-stick pan, while pan is heating, form crab meat batter into small balls, slightly fatten the ball and place then into pan, pan fried them til golden brown on each side
I managed to get 12 cakes from the batter, little girl and her 3 other friends were indulging the snack happily & quick, looking at them dipping & munching really make me happy too.

The cakes r just enough to satisfy the girls b4 they head off to the playground.

LG: Mummy, did u cook this with bread?
Me: Wow yes! But how do u know?
LG: I can taste the bread mah.

See, u can't lie or trick my girl on the ingredients used, she has a powerful tongue with sensitive taste buds =)
