Oven-fried Drumsticks

Didn't go over to mum's hse this evening, let little girl have her quiet time at home.  I tried out this recipe which I got from Yum Yum magazine, the oven-fried drumsticks.

Little girl's plate: oven-fried drumstick, sliced cucumber, stir-fried chinese cabbage with baby anchovies and some rice.

Little girl managed to finish all, but complained that the skin of drumstick tasted too garlic.

Mine.

The recipe from Yum Yum:

Ingredients A:
5 chicken drumsticks
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp garlic powder / mashed garlic

Ingredients B:
1 tsp chopped dried chilli
1 tbsp chopped spring onion
5 slices soda cracker, crushed

Method:
1. Rub chicken drumsticks with salt and garlic powder and marinate for 30 minutes
2. Coat marinated chicken drumsticks with B and bake in a preheated oven at 180 for 35 minutes.  Remove and serve.

I changed the recipe, used only 1 whole drumstick, marinated with salt and chopped garlic (that was why little girl complained).  Then coated with crushed seaweed potato chips.

The drumstick looks so crispy, yet sounds healthful. A must-try!
