Potstickers or Gyoza Bento 锅贴 (386)


Made some potstickers / gyoza with some store bought dumpling skins.  Those store bought skins didn't disappoint me, tasted good :)

4 gyozas

Cucumber slices and a panda bottle of soy sauce

Sliced guava marinated with diced sour plum
(Prepared by hubby)

2 mini custard puffs (brought from Centre Point) and 2 gummies


Ingredients
10 dumpling skins
200g minced pork
1 clove garlic, diced
2 leafs cabbage, chopped finely
1 tsp oyster sauce
1 tsp soy sauce
1 tbsp water
pinch of pepper
More water for boiling

  1. Bring a pot of water to boil, blanch chopped cabbage for 10 seconds, drained and squeezed out excess water, cool
  2. Mix blanched cabbage into minced pork, diced garlic and water, seasoned with oyster sauce, soy sauce and pepper
  3. Wrapped pork mixture into dumpling skin
  4. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, shallow fry gyoza til bottom turned light golden brown
  5. Pour in water til covering 1/3 of gyoza, cover with lid, boil til water fully vapor
  6. Serve while hot
